| Well Stretch, this is life in Haarlem as it is! If the purpose was to use them for tourists, you would not see empty beercrates on a roof, or an abundance of grass growing in the cracks of the pavement. I tell you a secret; most of the images you saw on the weblog were taken on one single sunny afternoon, while I took a walk in the center of Haarlem! This city keeps amazing me, I tell you! I only correct the images for true white balance and color and occasionally for lense distortion. I use a digital cam (Canon Rebel or 300D) with a Sigma 18-125 mm amateur lense. The exposure of digital images is very critical, comparable to color slide film. If you get that right, you can create images like the ones on my weblog.
